PORT DICKSON: A six-year-old boy reported missing at the Bagan Pinang beach here was found drowned Saturday night.

Port Dickson Fire and Rescue Service operations chief Mustafa Ahmad said the body of G. Shasikumar was found at 11.30 pm at the beach by the fire and rescue and police personnel who had launched a search for him.

“The body was sent to the Port Dickson Hospital for a post-mortem,” he said.

Shasikumar’s father, S. Ganesan, 35, of Cheras, Selangor, saidhis son went missing at about 5.30 pm after they had finished bathing in the sea.
