Asean Financial Crisis 1997 Re-visited

It is disheartening to know that while our country had been attacked by George Soros to collapse the value of our Ringgit Malaysia in 1997,  and his antics had been divulged by our former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, lurking in the background who is actually the accomplice of George Soros is none other than the deputy Prime Minister and the chosen heir to Mahathir.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is the enemy of the state.  He had been financed by George Soros and his cronies  through the Open Society Foundation,  to bring down the government of Malaysia.

Not only he was indulging in immoral activities which led to his conviction of sodomy charges,  his bigger sin is by being in cohorts with a foreign country to bring down the economy of Malaysia thus putting himself up as the new Prime Minister who is the puppet of his puppetmasters.

George Soros had retaliated to Tun Dr Mahathir’s accusation that he and the other money speculator are the ones responsible for the currency and financial turmoil in South East Asia by counter accusing him.

Malaysia’s Prime Minister then,  Tun Dr Mahathir blamed hedge-fund investors such as Mr. Soros whom he called “a moron”,  when they started with the currency crises in Thailand that led to the crash of the Malaysian ringgit and other regional currencies in 1997.

His accusations must have hit close to home when George Soros on 22nd of September 1997 strike back and branded Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as “a menace to his own country” and “a loose cannon” who should not taken seriously.

This senseless name-calling occured when Tun Dr Mahathir suggested banning currency trading which proves that Tun Dr Mahathir had been right in his suggestion and insinuation about George Soros being the person responsible for the collapse of the South East Asia financial turmoil.

Western currency speculators bankrupted the South East Asian economy.  George Soros had been funded by the British Government to do the dirty job.

According to one analyst,  Soros financed a large portion of the money by beginning to attack the Thai and Malaysian currencies in February 1997 with a passionate zest after the successful attack on European currencies in 1994.

Soros via Soros’ Quantum Fund leveraged $1.2 trilion through speculation in future markets.  The Thai Bath,  The Philippine Peso,  the Indonesian Rupiah and the Malaysian Ringgit had been short positioned causing the currency to crash by 40% to 70%.

His devious actions had caused the stock markets to collapse and wiping out the currency reserves.

On 17th November 1998,  United States of America Vice President,  Al-Gore shocked those who attended the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit by praising the ousted Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Al Gore openly commended him by mentioning “Reformasi” political reform movement and praising an anti-government movement which had caused street demonstrations and rioting.

Currently in 2015,  Malaysia is seen to be heading towards the same or worst economic condition and the parroting of Opposition Leader and PKR de facto leader about the worsening impending financial crisis could be his scapegoat to distract Malaysians from his latest sodomy charges.
