SEREMBAN: Two teenage boys were killed after the taxi driven by one of them, skidded and crashed into a rubber tree along Jalan Gadong-LBJ near here last night.

A police spokesman said in the incident around 11 pm, the victims aged 13 and 15, were thrown out of the vehicle in the impact and succumbed to serious head and bodily injuries.

The spokesman said one of the boys had taken his father’s taxi for a ride with his friend while the family were out shopping for Hari Raya.

Their bodies have been sent to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban for post mortem, according to the spokesman.

Meanwhile, state Traffic Police chief Supt Abdul Aziz Ali, when contacted, confirmed the incident. -BERNAMA
