Perak Exco member Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon today said that Perak DAP chairman Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham is only playing a drama and does not have the guts to participate in the debate challenge thrown by the former.

Speaking to PerakNews after attending a religious ceremony in Ipoh tonight, he said the excuses given by Ngeh saying there is no subject matter to debate about and that there is no proper mediator are just tactics to avoid participating.

”He has no courage to face me and is only playing a drama,” said Dr, Mah and added that Ngeh seems to be suffering an inferiority complex.

“All the noise he is making is just to boost his own ego”, he said.

Dr. Mah also criticised Ngeh for saying there is no proper mediator as it only shows that he has no respect to the offer made by political analyst Datuk Dr Cheah See Kian, to become the moderator.

“Ngeh refusal to acknowledge and accept Dr Cheah’s offer is plain arrogance,” said Dr Mah and added that in doing so, he (Ngeh) has displayed a lack of the sensitivity towards the Chinese community who have great respect for the analyst.
