SOME 250 participants from several districts in Perak underwent a three-week pre-school teacher training course organised by the TAJ International College (TAJ) in Ipoh recently.The training was conducted under the Private Pre-School Teachers Programme of the Teachers Training Division of the Education Ministry.

It was aimed at enhancing the quality and standard of education in the pre-school sector.
They were treated to dinner at the Jubilee Ballroom of Royal Perak Golf Club in Ipoh.

Among the guests were Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, his wife Datin Seri Saripah Zulkifli, Ministry of Education chief assistant director Dr Zuber Hassan and TAJ founder Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.

In her welcoming speech, TAJ chief executive officer Tina Tajuddin said the college aims to become an “agent of change” in transforming the education sector, particularly in Perak through the programme of Perak Aman Jaya. — By K. Narsing Rao
