SEG International Bhd (SEGI) is building a new campus in Perak to accommodate the expansion of its education business. In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Segi said its wholly owned subsidiary Segi University College (M) Sdn Bhd had entered into a preliminary agreement Monday with the management of the company owned Oak fine Development Sdn Bhd to develop the new campus in Perak.SEGi Oakfine had requested that plans to develop a piece of land in Hulu Mukim Kinta, Daerah Kinta measuring about 60 hectares, for build a campus on the land to accommodate Segi University College. Segi University or its nominee company must pay a rental fee sen psf 50 to Oak-fine during the first three years. The rental rate for renewable terms, if any, will be mutually agreed by both parties, provided that the increase shall not exceed 10% of tenure previous rate.The be & # XE1, for the last three years with an option to renew for another three years to a maximum of four terms.
