PENDANG: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak began his one-day working visit to Kedah Friday by attending a Settlers Day 2013 celebration at the Sungai Tiang Felda scheme, here.

The prime minister and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor arrived at the land scheme at about 10.30am accompanied by Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir.

He will later perform Friday prayers at the mosque there.

This evening, the prime minister is scheduled to open the Kedah Urban Transformatioon Centre in Alor Setar.

At night, he will launch the National-Level Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2013 campaign at Dataran Zero, Sungai Petani.
