PUTRAJAYA: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa heads a list of 320 recipients of awards and medals in conjunction with Federal Territories Day today.
Ali will be conferred the Darjah Seri Utama Mahkota Wilayah (SUMW) award which carries the title “Datuk Seri Utama”.
Also receiving the SUMW is former Minister of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Seri Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin. This year 17 individuals will be conferred the Darjah Seri Mahkota Wilayah (SMW) award which carries the title “Datuk Seri” while 59 people will receive the Panglima Mahkota Wilayah (PMW) award, carrying the title “Datuk”.
Thirty-nine people will receive the Johan Mahkota Wilayah (JMW) medal, 55 the Kesatria Mahkota Wilayah (KMW) medal, 59 the Ahli Mahkota Wilayah (AMW) medal and 89 the Pangkuan Mahkota Wilayah (PPW) medal.
The 17 recipients of the SMW are Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee; Secretary-General of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, Datuk Seri Ibrahim Muhamad; Secretary-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, Datuk Seri Che Mohd Hashim Abdullah; Secretary-General of the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Datuk Seri Nurmala Abd Rahim; Secretary-General of the Ministry of Federal Territories, Datuk Seri Adnan Md Ikshan.
