PM attends briefings on Johor’s development

PM NAJIB RAZAK / DPM TS MUHYIDDIN YASSIN BRIEFING IN JOHOR

JOHOR BARU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak attended a closed-door briefing on Johor’s developments and progress here today.

He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and also Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin at the Puteri Pacific Hotel here at 3.30pm.

Also present was newly-minted Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong and Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong.

Johor state planning unit (Unpen) director A. Rahim Nin gave the two-hour briefing on the state’s development and progress.

It is learnt that among the issues discussed was the anticipated issue of the Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) for Singaporean vehicles.

The Johor government has been keen in awaiting the approval from the Federal Government to implement the VEP for Singapore-registered vehicles entering both the Causeway in the city and also the Second Link in Gelang Patah in the state.
