The incident is believed to have taken place on Monday at Kampung Keramat, Juru.

Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Rusli Mohd Noor said police are currently searching for the woman’s boyfriend to assist in investigations.

Penang Hospital Forensic Department director Datuk Dr Zahari Noor who visited the crime scene said he had been asked to determine if the burnt pieces of flesh discovered belonged to a human being.
