PETALING JAYA: Users of SPRINT and Damansara-Puchong (LDP) Expressways will enjoy toll discount of RM0.20 and RM0.60 respectively on the first day of Hari Raya (slated for July 17).

Highway concessionaire Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (LITRAK) chief group executive officer Sazally Saidi said the discount would be given from midnight on Hari Raya eve until 11.59 pm on the first day of Hari Raya.

“For this year, we estimate RM193,000 worth of discounts to be given to approximately 308,000 LDP users, and about RM26,000 worth of discounts to 129,000 SPRINT users.”

He said this to reporters after launching the Toll Discount In Conjunction With Aidilfitri at LITRAK group’s iftar dinner with 30 orphans from Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Bimbingan At Taqwa, Puchong here today.

Also present was the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) director-general Datuk Ir Ismail Md Salleh.

At the event, Sazally also announced that LITRAK would be giving toll rebates of up to 20 per cent to Class 1 LDP users through the Frequent Travellers Programme.

“Those who use the LDP for a total of 100 times a month will enjoy toll rebate of 20 per cent.

This rebate was aimed at rewarding and reducing the burden of the frequent highway users,” he said. – BERNAMA
