Jaclyn Victor saddened by Siti’s miscarriage, sends her support

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Jaclyn Victor has expressed her heartfelt sadness over pop queen Datuk Siti Nurhaliza’s miscarriage.

“On behalf of my family, I extend my moral support and comfort to Siti, my fellow Malaysian singer and an icon I truly admire.

I’m deeply saddened to hear the news, and I pray that Siti will be strong in this moment of grief,” said the award-winning singer.

The first Malaysian Idol who had her first child on Aug 24 said, she hoped Siti would “keep the faith” and that “brighter days” emerge for Siti and family.

Jaclyn said this when met after the Press conference at Istana Budaya yesterday on the one-night musical showcase Music Of The Night, which will take place at 8.30pm on Dec 19.

She is set to perform hit songs from Hollywood movies and Broadway, West End and local musicals with singer-actor Stephen Rahman Hughes, backed by the National Symphony Orchestra.

The orchestra is conducted by Mustafa Fuzer Nawi while Pat Ibrahim is the director of the showcase which features songs from the Star Wars movies, Batman, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Phantom Of The Opera, Cats, Puteri Gunung Ledang and Les Miserables.
