BN manifesto will be a breath of fresh air: CM Adena

LUNDU: The Barisan Nasional election manifesto to be unveiled tomorrow will be unique and different from previous election pledges, said Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem today.

Adenan, who is also the Sarawak BN chairman, said apart from future planning to prosper the state, the election manifesto will include actions that have been implemented by the state government under his leadership.

“The election manifesto for the state polls will be unique.

“It was not only include programmes which BN plan to implement in the next five years but also initiatives which have already been implemented. “You will know tomorrow,” he told reporters here today.

Present was Prime Minister and BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak. Adenan, who is also Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu president, is expected to unveil the election manifesto at the party headquarters in Jalan Bako tomorrow.

He was also confident that BN will form the next state government based on the inability of opposition parties to find an amicable solution for seat allocations in the polls.

Adenan also described BN’s early victory in retaining Bukit Sari and Bukit Kota seats without any contest as a morale booster for the ruling coalition.

He however, cautioned BN candidates not to take things for granted and to work hard to recapture more seats from the opposition.-nst
