KUALA LUMPUR: Local lifestyle and fashion digital magazine Zon Interaktif Pesona (ZIP) celebrated its first-year anniversary yesterday. The anniversary celebration was held in style at Hotel Istana here, with the theme “Persona Glam”.

Among the local celebrities present at Urban restaurant were Nora Danish, Fara Fauzana, Neelofa, Shaheizy Sam, Dayang Nurfaizah and Maya Karin.

The celebrities were presented with a limited-edition perfume from Paris, with their names engraved on the bottles, from SCS Perfumes — Savour Collezione by Sharlanz.

The celebrities, who have appeared on the cover of ZIP since its first edition, were given limited-edition Rafflesia chocolate with their faces printed on it.

At the party, guests were treated to special performances by local musician Ajai and friends, as well as a fashion show by designer Zaimi Zulkifli.

Also present at the anniversary celebration were Harian Metro group editor Datuk Mustapha Omar and world-renowned Malaysian shoe designer Datuk Jimmy Choo. Since its official roll-out on March 1 last year, ZIP has seen more than 120,000 downloads via Google’s Playstore and Apple’s AppStore.

ZIP is a digital magazine that showcases the current trends and lifestyle in the country. It is a Malay-medium digital magazine and is published by the New Straits Times Press Bhd and Media Prima Bhd.

Published once a month, the magazine focuses on, among others, the lifestyle of local celebrities, the latest fashion, cuisine and travels.
