Negligence caused Kuala Kubu Baru train collision

PETALING JAYA: The train collision in Kuala Kubu Baru earlier this month was caused by human error, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pic).

He said investigations showed there was negligence on the part of the drivers that led to the accident.

“We will refer the case to the police,” Liow told reporters after attending the Wesak Day celebration at Kwan Inn Teng temple here Saturday morning.

On May 7, an Ekspres Rakyat train from Butterworth to Johor Baru collided with an electric train service from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh.
