SARIKEI: Four people were missing when a barge, laden with gravel capsized near Kampung Petanak, Pulau Bruit, Tanjung Manis, here this morning.

Two other boat crews were reported safe after clinging onto the barge in the 8.33am mishap.

State Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said search mission was activated to locate the missing boat crews.

“The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency has also deployed a team in two boats to help with the search mission,” he said.-nst
