AirAsia plane’s tyre ‘deflates’ while landing at klia2

PUTRAJAYA: AirAsia’s flight, AK 12 from Chennai has experienced a deflated tyre upon landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) this morning.

Confirming it on a Twitter post, the budget airline said all passengers and crew were safe.

“AirAsia confirms that AK12 from Chennai experienced a deflated tyre upon landing at klia2 this morning.

“All guests and crew are safe and have been disembarked. We apologise for the discomfort experienced by our guests,” it added.

A statement will be issued later in the day on the incident, the airline spokesperson said.-nst
