KOTA BHARU: The number of flood victims in Kelantan remained at 124 people as at 8 am today. They are being accommodated at six evacuation centres in the Kota Bharu, Pasir Mas, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai districts.

The Social Welfare Department, through its infobanjir application, said 25 of the victims (five families) were at an evacuation centre in Pasir Puteh and 42 others (15 families) at three evacuation centres in Pasir Mas.

The remaining flood victims are at a centre in Kota Bharu (43 people from 10 families) and another 14 people (two families) are at a centre in Kuala Krai.

According to the portal ebanjir.kelantan.gov.my, the water in Sungai Golok, Rantau Panjang, has receded to 9.22 metres, from 9.45 metres last night, but still above the danger level of 9 metres. — Bernama
