PETALING JAYA: A 21-year-old youth who went missing on Broga Hill for seven days has been found.

Mohd Azarul Mukhris Abd Rahman initially climbed up Broga Hill at about 4pm on Sunday with five other people – three adults and two children.

However, Mohd Azarul split from the group at around 6pm and could not be found.

He was believed to have gone ahead of the group and left the others behind.

When contacted, Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Othman Nanyan said that Mohd Azarul was discovered at about 11.45am on Saturday by a search and rescue team at “Puncak 3” on Broga Hill.

“He is in stable condition but very weak.

“He has been sent to Kajang Hospital for a full medical checkup,” he said.

Altogether, some 151 people took part in the search and rescue efforts.-thestar
