BELADIN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said his administration could not afford to promise the moon and stars to the people as they will loose their credibility in running the country.

“We are responsible to the people and the promises we make are the ones we can surely deliver, ” Najib said at the Beladin Community Hall ground breaking ceremony here today.

Najib said to ensure continuous development nationwide, there must be balanced and inclusive planning that covers every nook and cranny of the country.

“We must also have a sustainable development, which can support future generations. We can’t be doing a one off plan without thinking ahead,” he said.

Beladin is part of Beting Maro state constituency and this is Najib’s fifth visit here since he assumed office eight years ago in 2009.

Nearly 5,000 people attended the RM3.6 million Beladin Community Hall ground breaking ceremony, which Najib had pledged during his last visit two years ago.

Earlier, Najib also announced RM30 million for the construction of new police station for the community, where the tender will be announced in September.
