KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 21 (Bernama) — A moderate earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale occured at 157km Southeast of Taipei, Taiwan and 1937 km northeast of Kudat, Sabah at 8.32pm today.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement here tonight said the earthquake did not pose any tsunami threat.
