KUALA LUMPUR: A Bosnian who is a Malaysian Permanent Resident is suing his ex-girlfriend for allegedly abusing his sperm to produce an offspring with European genes.

Ervin Ahbabovic filed the suit in the High Court Registry through Messrs The Law Chambers of Mohamad Fauzi on Friday.

The suit was made known to the press on Tuesday.

In the statement of claim, Ervin said he entered into a relationship with his 29-year-old former
girlfriend in the hope that he would establish a “God blessed” union.

The 41-year-old commercial director of a private limited company alleged that they had lived together and were blessed with a baby boy who was born on Feb 7, 2010.

Ervin said at the time he was hoping that the relationship would progress towards a marriage.

However, he did not realise and had no knowledge that the defendant did not share the same feelings and had a negative perception on their relationship.

He alleged after the birth of their son, the defendant always looked for his faults and quarreled with him which created a harsh and inharmonious situation in their daily life.

Ervin, who was also a business consultant for several companies since 1995, claimed that later he realised that her sexual desire and dominant attitude towards him started to cross beyond normal boundaries.

He alleged that she demanded to have sexual intercourse six times a day with her with approximately one hour each session.

The plaintiff who had been in Malaysia since 1995, said she often threatened to commit suicide if her sexual lust was not fulfilled or if he left her for any reason.

Ervin claimed that the defendant became hostile and on one occasion she stabbed his left forearm on Sept 3, last year.

He said he felt humiliated, subdued, traumatised, extreme stress and shock because the defendant not only chased him from the house but also prohibited him from seeing his son.

He said after the incident he still contacted the defendant by telephone to reconcile for the benefit of their son but she stated that he had actually been used as a tool to get his sperm for her to have a better offspring.

Ervin claimed that this was due to the perception that the European genetic DNA had an unparalleled and astonishing quality compared to the local.

The plaintiff is seeking monetary compensation of RM600,000 for the usage of sperm for the purpose of getting a child by wrongful way; to have him recognised as the father of their son in the birth certificate and costs and further reliefs fit and proper by the court.

Ervin’s counsel Nasir Yusof told the media that the case management had been fixed on Oct 1.

Nasir said he would serve the writ of summons to the defendant within 14 days beginning on Wednesday, Sept 4.
