Guan Eng dares Rahman Dahlan to call him ‘corrupted’

Guan Eng DahalanPETALING JAYA: DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has challenged Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan to state alleged incidences of corruption that occurred in the party.

In a Twitter spat that took place Monday night, Lim had responded quickly to Abdul Rahman’s tweet with “Do not be a useless coward, just say that I am corrupted in our DAP HQ so that I can sue you for defamation and lies! Anak jantankah?”

Abdul Rahman earlier took a swipe at the Opposition party, tweeting “Where did DAP get the money to have multimillion ringgit headquarters in Penang? Hope it’s not corruption.”

After Lim’s reply, Abdul Rahman, the Kota Belud MP, responded by asking “Do I sense anger in your response? Have I touched on raw nerves of yours? Why are you not responding to legitimate question?

He continued lambasting Lim, the Bagan MP, saying he was not scared of Lim’s “bullying tactics” and that the DAP head accused Barisan Nasional of corruption “umpteen times” and it had not responded.

“Kami sabar (we are patient). When I asked where DAP got its millions to build its HQ, he went berserk! Wow!”

Lim, who is Penang Chief Minister, responded to this, asking “Do you dare to take my challenge and call me corrupt? BN CORRUPT when Washington Post declared Malaysia as most corrupt country on earth!”

Abdul Rahman then shot back “Penang is part of Malaysia… No?”
