KAJANG: A bloodied body of a man was found lying on a pink mattress complete with a pillow, behind a restaurant in Bandar Mahkota Cheras here yesterday

The fully-clothed body, wearing blue jeans and red T-shirt, was found by a passer-by when he checked on a strong foul smell coming out the trash space behind of Sing Kee 69 Restaurant here along Jalan Temenggung 3/9 at about 9am.

The police forensics team found blood stains on the deceased hands and face, and there were also blood splashed on the floor and wall of the trash bin space, but no cuts or injury marks were present on the body.

However, district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said there were residues of blood clots on the deceased’s mouth and nose.

“The body was sent to Serdang Hospital for an autopsy, we can only classify the case after the autopsy result is out,” Rashid said.
