PETALING JAYA: A morning downpour stalled cars, and several accidents on major roads caused massive traffics jam across the Klang Valley during the rush hour on Tuesday.

According to Astro Radio Traffic (astrotraffic) tweets, accidents were reported in Jalan Tun Razak, Shah Alam, the Templer interchange in Petaling Jaya, the Besraya Highway on the MRR2, and Bandar Puteri.

Although the vehicles involved in the mishaps had been moved, motorists slowing down to view the accidents were continuing to cause the backlog.

Star Radio Traffic (@mytraffic) tweeted traffic crawl from Jalan Yew and the SMART Tunnel due to an overturned car.

It also reported accidents near Sri Muda, Shah Alam that was causing traffic jams from Kota Kemuning.

Busy traffic was also reported from Cheras Baru to Pandan Indah and the East West Link remained slow from Taman Connaught, Cheras, all the way to the Federal Highway.
