Kuala Lumpur: About 120 youths gathered outside parliament to demand justice for the victims of Malaysian Airlines flight MH 17.

Under the banner #justice4MH17 the group’s spokesman Michael Teoh said the gathering was to show solidarity towards the family members of the 298 victims who perished in the ill-fated flight.

“We want to show that youths from different background can come together as one for Malaysia in her darkest hour,” he said when met by reporters here.

The group, clad in black t-shirt and holding justice for mh 17 placards, distributed the Jalur Gemilang to Members of Parliament as they arrived for an emergency sitting of parliament to discuss the crash.

They also managed to pass one to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and later sang him a birthday song.

Najib is celebrating his 61st birthday today.

The group later praised the prime minister’s efforts in negotiating a deal to return the victims remains to their families and securing the aircrafts black boxes.
