IPOH: A bank in Jalan Seenivasagam here has been evacuated following reports of a bomb found on the premises.

Police have cordoned off the area for safety purposes.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Sum Chang Keong, who is present at the scene, said police are investigating the matter but did not provide further details.

He confirmed, however, that a bomb squad is present.
