GOMBAK: The body of a man, believed to have been murdered, was found sprawled outside a clinic at Batu 17, Rawang here.

Police believed that the 27-year-old man was stabbed elsewhere before his body was abandoned in front of the clinic early Thursday morning.

His body was reportedly found with stab wounds to the left side of his body.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Ali Ahmad (pic) said police received a call from Hospital Selayang at about 6.10am, notifying them about the body.

“We believe he was attacked at a different location before he was left outside the clinic.

“He died before receiving treatment. He was pronounced dead by medical personnel,” he said.

The body was sent to Hospital Sungai Buloh for a post-mortem.

The case has been classified as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

The deceased man was reportedly attempting to rob a foreign workers’ hostel when he was stabbed by one of the occupants.

It is learnt that he was sent to a clinic by another man. It is believed that the deceased had an accomplice, who fled the scene on a motorcycle.-thestar
