Early voting begins in Tanjong Datu by-election

LUNDU: Early voting in the Tanjong Datu state seat by-election began at 8am today involving 188 policemen, military staff and their spouses.

A total of 101 policemen and their spouses are expected to cast their votes at the Kampung Sungai Lundu community hall here.

The remaining early registered voters will cast their votes at the ULS camp hall in Sampadi near here.

Both early polling centres will close at 5pm.

The by-election sees a three-cornered fight between Barisan Nasional candidate, Puan Sri Jamilah Anu, the State Reform Party’s Johnny Aput and Rapelson Richard Hamit of Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru.-nst
