PETALING JAYA: Fire fighters took almost four hours to put out a blaze at a factory for recycled material at Batu Arang near Rawang.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul said the department received a call at Jalan PPP at 5.36am yesterday.

Mohd Sani said the fire was brought under control at about 9.30am with about 70% of the 900sq m store destroyed.

There were no reported casualties during the incident.

Twenty-three fire fighters were involved in putting out the fire.-thestar
