PUTRAJAYA: Three people, including a secretary-general of a federal ministry, have been taken to the magistrate’s court here to be remanded in a case involving abuse of power, corruption and money laundering.
The 59-year-old secretary-general, his 29-year-old son and an unidentified man arrived at the court compound here in separate cars at 9.40am on Thursday.
They were clad in orange coloured t-shirts with the words “LOKAP SPRM” and had their faces covered.
The Star reported on Wednesday that Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Azam Baki confirmed that Rural and Regional Development Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohd Arif Ab Rahman is being investigated for abuse of power, corruption and money launcdering.-thestar
